| QUEENSLAND LEADS the way with TruckCare implementation thanks to a professional implementation process provided by Garry (Darby) Sullivan. As the official LTAQ/ALTA endorsed program provider, Darby has been involved with the successful implementation of TruckCare in 12 Queensland operations to date and he's currently working with two more. "Queensland is leading the way with a greater number of operators who have obtained their accreditation," Darby Sullivan says. | ||
| Darby's been at the coalface of the industry for more than 30 years, his approach is down to earth and indicative of a lifetime of experiences. "I'm supplying and implementing Transport Accreditations on several levels, from TFMS (Transitional Fatigue Management Scheme) to Full Fatigue Management Training, TruckSafe and TruckCare, whatever best suits the operator. "Even though I'm permanently based in Toowoomba, I have implemented TruckSafe and TruckCare programs from Townsville to Adelaide. Darby started driving RoadTrains carting cattle in the early 1970's. He changed to general freight driving on the Brisbane-Toowoomba-Darwin run with Bill Baskett and then John Bain. Darby retired from the arduous roadtrain driving and commenced office operations and depot management for John Bain in Brisbane, Adelaide and Darwin depots. |

| Darby first got involved in the TruckSafe program about six years ago while managing for Bob Van Damme. "It's all developed from there," Darby said. I'm an endorsed Service Supplier for the ATA (Australian Trucking Association) a TruckCare Facilitator for the LTAQ (Livestock Transport Association Qld) and the ALTA (Australian Livestock Transport Association)." Darby's list of qualifications is indicative of the professional transport accreditation service provider forging their way into the transport industry currently. Darby Sullivan is a qualified Cat 2 Trainer, he's also able to implement (NHVAS) Mass Management and (NHVAS) Maintenance Management. | ||
